Summertime Bliss!

This gorgeous wedding epitomizes summertime perfection! From their beachside ceremony to the palm tree backdrop, their big day truly was something special. The floral design centered around texture—and lots of it! Bright greens of all variations were layered with succulents and pops of fresh orange florals. And let’s not forget the bouquet! Sometimes, it’s fun to keep a bouquet one color, but really incorporate extreme texture differences to achieve a sophisticated, yet understated look. This bouquet was full of succulents and other greeneries to achieve this layered aesthetic. We’ll definitely keep these bright and fresh wedding arrangements in mind for future summer inspiration.

Love is really in the air this time of year—it is the start of wedding season after all! And with so much love and joy, it’s only fitting to think of Father’s Day this upcoming Sunday. We have been a part of some truly timeless and love-filled weddings, and love watching the father-of-the-bride’s reaction to his daughter on this special occasion. Summertime Floral Inspo

Summer is right around the corner and you know what that means…fresh, lush florals! Southern California sunshine means the days are longer and the florals are brighter. For summertime weddings, it’s all about pops of color. Whether you prefer bright pinks or bold oranges, we love playing with color and greenery for added texture. Summer weddings are such a fun opportunity to really experiment with brighter tones—even when it comes to the boutonnière! 

While colorful floral design is a great way to take advantage of the season, you can always craft your floral aesthetic based on your ceremony space. Beachside summer weddings are always timeless, so why not create a serene and sophisticated ocean-like aesthetic? Soft, luminous florals are perfect for a romantic, outdoor summer ceremony. We adore light pinks and cream tones with hints of greenery to achieve the perfect understated design.

Summer Soiree at Sunstone

Located on a stunning 52-acre Santa Ynez ranch, Sunstone Winery is a one of a kind estate and vineyard. This destination winery has beautiful architectural elements and rolling lawns, acting as the perfect blank—and rustic—canvas for any event. And in this instance, Sunstone served as the perfect choice for an outdoor summertime soiree!

The property is filled with majestic oak trees, creating an aura of simplicity and appreciation for nature. With this in mind, the floral design for this event was rooted in a fresh from the garden aesthetic. Lush white florals were complimented with pops of muted greenery and accented with fresh sprigs. In any garden-inspired floral design, it’s important to add layers and texture, which we accomplished through the abundant use of greenery. These arrangements mirrored the natural vineyard elements surrounding the villa.

Centering on nature and rustic charm, this summertime soiree was the perfect compliment to Sunstone Winery. EDE by Jacqueline designed a breathtaking space; from the linens, to the menus, to the detailing on the plates, the event was full of charm and character.
