Reflecting on Heather and Simon’s wedding makes us smile. From our gorgeous couple and their bridal party, to the beautiful ocean view ceremony, to the pretty blush and light pink reception décor, this wedding had elegant and classic written all over.
In December we invited our creative partners to a “Wreath Making Party” at the Viceroy Santa Monica. Our goal was to have fun making different types of wreaths, while enjoying tasty nibbles and winter cocktails with our friends.
We had two wreath making stations. The first was a traditional winter green wreath, with elaborate bow and baubles. The second station, was a modern twist on holiday wreaths using Air Plants and simple gold painted wooden wreaths.
It was a fun filled evening and we are grateful to our partners who inspire us all year long.
XO, The Wisteria Lane Team
Your wedding is arguably one of the biggest days of your life. In planning for your special day, there are a multitude of elements to consider—and yet, from your unique vision to each décor element you strive to include, flowers are always a focal point! Your bouquet design is an important decision, and serves as a foundation for your wedding party floral design altogether; however, beyond designing boutonnieres for your groomsmen and bouquets for your bridesmaids, you also need to consider your flower girls and ring bearers!
The Wisteria Lane team had the best time participating in this adorable flower girl shoot, creating all kinds of delicate bouquets and flower crowns. We absolutely love the lavender and mint flower girl dresses, and paired muted matching flowers to create the sweetest aesthetic that can be adapted to any wedding party. Enjoy a gallery of some of our favorite shots from this cute shoot below, and hopefully draw some inspiration for flower girl style!
With temperatures dipping into the 60s in-sunny!-Southern California, it is starting to feel like fall. Looking forward to all things holiday, we love Suranee and Jeff’s al fresco wedding reception, chock full of peach and bright oranges, muted greenery, and cream-colored flowers for a fresh, fall-inspired celebration. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, these fall hued flowers were complimented by luminous candlelight and strung café lights. And, if orange bridesmaids dresses weren’t enough, Suranee’s second outfit, a gorgeous deep orange sari was the cherry on top of this great color palette, tying together the day’s design. We love looking back on this stunning day, and invite you to take a peak below at some of our favorite moments!
